I’m Here to Help Your Creative Process Grow

Cezia is a mixed media artist from Big Sky, Montana, currently living in Bozeman, Montana. 9 years ago, she was living on the East Coast and visited Big Sky for a seasonal job. She ended up falling in love with Montana (as everyone does) and ended up making it her permanent home.

Over the years, Cezia has cultivated her own style from what she sees around her. Her style is vibrant and created with recycled and thrifted materials. Growing up, Cezia was always fascinated by art, cooking & making crafts with her mom, her biggest creative influence. Her mom inspired Cezia to always think outside the box and make the best with what you have on hand, even if that means being a little unconventional.

Notable Mentions

Cezia’s unique art pieces are a constant staple at the Big Sky Farmers Market. She has fostered a connection with the Big Sky community and has been recognized for her work, recently winning the second-place prize at this summer’s Big Sky Artisan Festival and also nominated for Best Artist 2022. Cezia is also an art instructor for the Art Council of Big Sky. The coolest thing she's ever done was lead an art party for Justin Timberlake.

Her advice to everyone is: “Be unique and brave enough to embrace your essence.”

My Studio Favorites

  • Starting My Day

First things first, I need my prayer & journaling time. It’s the jump start to my day.

  • My Fuel

Second most important, tea. It’s my fuel to get me through a fun-creating time. I usually end up reheating my tea 6 times.

  • Set the Mood

Music is make it or break it for me. My top favorite artists to listen to when I'm in the crafting zone are: Etta James, Mac Miller, Adele, and Upperroom. If I’m not listening to a playlist, I always have a show in the background that I know by heart: The Office, Friends, or anything that involves Gordon Ramsay yelling at some rookies.

  • Set the Vibe

Lighting up a good ol’ candle. There's something about a burning candle that makes me feel relaxed.

  • Dress to Impress

Wearing my artist apron, yes I am very messy like a child. I call it my confidence apron because my best friend made it and she is always rooting for me.

  • My Associates

Gathering my two cats for moral support. It brings me so much joy to see them in my work area.
